Full Picture Advisory was founded by Ivan Nelson to help enterprises make better decisions about how they build, operate, and scale their video capabilities.

Throughout his career, Ivan has led and advised on media, communications, and creative operations within complex, regulated organizations in Finance and Pharma — environments where business priorities, audience expectations, technology, budgets, and governance must work together. His 30-year experience spans the full media lifecycle, from live events and studio operations to post-production workflows, media asset management, storage, and emerging AI tools.

That perspective led to a simple conviction: no two media operations are alike, and the right solution cannot be determined by technology alone. It must reflect what an organization needs to produce, the maturity of its teams and processes, its growth plans, its regulations, and the audiences it serves.

Full Picture Advisory begins every engagement with a structured assessment of those factors. We identify critical gaps, clarify requirements, and develop a practical roadmap for the operating model, workflows, technology, and implementation support the organization needs. The result may be an internal capability, an external partner model, or a combination of both.

Because Full Picture Advisory does not produce content or resell technology, its recommendations remain vendor- and tool-agnostic. The goal is not to promote a particular platform or encourage unnecessary investment. It is to help each client select the systems and implementation partners best suited to its use cases, organizational readiness, financial requirements, and compliance obligations.
