Alignment

Alignment is shared responsibility made explicit.

AI breaks most organizational boundaries. Creative teams adopt tools. Legal inherits risk. IT is asked to secure systems it didn’t select. Leadership assumes coherence that doesn’t exist.

Alignment means resolving these gaps deliberately. Establishing shared language, clear decision rights, and visible accountability across functions. Making AI use a leadership issue—not a series of delegated experiments.

Most failures attributed to “AI” are actually failures of alignment.
